The two types of flat fees

On the “Job Services” form, two types of flat fees can be selected:
– Flat Fee – WITHOUT time report status update
– Flat Fee – Time report status update

These two types of billing come from the old type Flat to allow the user to change or not the timereport status relative to the Job and Service.
Please note that a check has been created in the Utilities to switch the timereport status from billed to unbilled. This concerns the type “Flat” that became “Flat Fee – WITHOUT Timereport status update”.

1)     Flat Fee – without timereport status update

The flat fee is billed to the customer without updating the timereport status.

2)     Flat Fee – timereport status update

The flat fee is billed to the customer with updating the timereport status.
All the unbilled timereports with an amount that does not exceed the flat fee are updated with the status “Billed” and linked to the generated bill.
Furthermore, the “Unbilled” timereports that do not exceed the flat fee are changed to “Write Off” and linked to the bill.

Please note that a global view of timereports and their status is possible with the the “Timereport Billing” form.
