Bank Account Type

General description

This form is used to display/add/edit/delete the name of the Bank Account types.

Usage of the Bank Account Types

  • This form is called when selecting the Parameters / Banks / Bank Account Type menu and when clicking on the Type Go button of the Bank Account form.

Validation checks

  • The Name field must be filled
  • When adding a type, its name cannot exist already
  • When editing a type, its new name must be unique
  • When deleting a type, a check is made to verify if that type is not linked to an existing bank account

Rights and Options

  • The user must have the rights to Display / Add / Edit / Delete data on this form.

Fields description

  • The Type field represent the Bank Account system type which can have four values: None / Wire transfer (Supplier) / Client Invoice / Wire transfer (Client)
    1. None: if selected no specific treatment is to be given to the created type of account.
    2. Wire transfers ( Suppliers ): this type is used to indicate that the account is to be used for wire transfer orders ( on paper or electronic transfer ) in supplier invoices ( see supplier invoices ).
    3. Wire transfers ( Clients ): this type is used to indicate that the account is to be used for wire transfer orders ( on paper or electronic transfer ) in client invoices ( see client invoices ).
    4. Client invoice: this type indicates the account to be selectable in a client invoice combo box in order to enable the user to specify on which account the invoice has to be used.
  • The Name field is a free name you give to one of the system types.
