If you want to install an SQL Server 2016 (Full or Express version) on Domain Server Controller, be careful with 2 points
- Connect with user Administrator (Using a user that has administrator rights is not sufficient)
- Be careful with the user account used for SQL services:
Change the service accounts to domain account.
