When you’re updating DeMaSy, you have to be careful about few things to make sure that everything runs fine. The following checklist has to be applied in Utilities for DeMaSy once you have upgraded the databases:
- Ensure that you have done at least a check of Licence Database, Import Database & LINK databases.
- In INIEditor screen, DBList tab you can also use the functionality Reset DBList from INI files in order to ensure that the list of databases is correct and based on existing INI files.
- Still in INIEditor screen, DBList tab you can select all the databases through the + symbol and then click on Edit DB INI… button. The software will check if every property of the INI file has the same value. If a property is not the same in every other INI files, you will see its default value displayed near the property label. To update the property value you can check the checkbox, choose a new value and click on Save button. To ensure that the INI file has been updated, you can click again on Edit DB INI… button.
- Still in INIEditor screen, in General tab you can check if the combobox Preferred standard database is filled with the right value.
